Oodles Chinese Derby Welcomes Social Media Star

Oodles Chinese will host YouTube and Social Media sensation Brown Girl Problems as its special guest for its launch weekend at its new Derby store.
The Normanton Road site is the biggest store to date for the brand and its fourth restaurant in the Midlands.

On Sunday April 22nd, social media star Brown Girl Problems will attend as part of the weekend’s launch She has a following of 618k on Facebook and 209k on Instagram, with millions of views on her YouTube channel.

Alongside a meet and greet with her fans, she will try some cooking behind the scenes. Fans will be able to follow the entire weekend via our social media channels while Brown Girl Problems will also do a vlog on the day which will be uploaded to her YouTube Channel.

The Derby store is our biggest location and is part of an ambitious growth strategy for the Midlands targeting 10 more openings by 2020 creating over 200 new jobs.

Dishes at Oodles Chinese include Malaysian chicken, chilli chicken, Chinese lamb curry, chilli prawns, teriyaki chicken, schezuan beef stir fry and crispy prawns. Side options include vegetable spring rolls, Chinese fried wings and prawn crackers.

A large box is priced at £6.50, medium is £6 and small is £5 with customers choosing two starters and up to two main dishes.

It also operates a lunchtime special (collection only)- from 11am to 3pm Monday to Friday with a large box for £5.50 with free drink, medium box for £5 and a small box for £4. The food is certified halal and includes vegetarian options.
